“30 Days of
Thankfulness”
Day 11
Today I am thankful for freedom! First of all because of the blood shed by
Jesus on Calvary I am free to live eternally with him and secondly because of
the men and women who sacrifice their lives day in and day out so that this
country can remain free. I woke up today
in the peace of knowing that I could take my treasured Bible and go to a place
of worship, sing praises to my God, and hear His Word preached without being
persecuted or killed. All because of
Jesus I’m alive, and all because of the brave men and women who protect this
country I’m able to worship my Risen Lord! Hallelujah!
Galatians 5:1
“It is for freedom
that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be
burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”
