It is so hard to believe that it is November 1! We have
officially begun one of my favorite months of the year and the end of 2012 is
coming quickly. Everywhere you look there are situations that can bring
discouragement and we are constantly reminded that life is anything but what
you see in a Hallmark movie. So, what do we do with that? Well, I have
decided to focus on all the wonderful things that I have to be thankful for and
demonstrate an attitude of gratitude!
Today I begin "30 Days of Thankfulness". Every day
this month I will be lifting up praise to my God for his bountiful blessings,
every day I will focus on the many treasures that God has bestowed on me, and
every day I will exalt His name on high! I want to invite you to join me!
Let's give God praise together out of hearts overflowing with thanksgiving!
Day 1 of "30 Days of
Thankfulness"
Today, I thank God for loving me enough to send His Son to die
on a cruel cross for me. He bore my sins, conquered death and the grave, and saved
me from eternity separated from Him! He is my Savior and my Redeemer and I
am so grateful that He marked my debt, "paid in full"! Hallelujah!
"This
is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an
atoning sacrifice for our sins."
