What a blessing to see my kids
lead worship today! As parents we continually pray that God will always take
first place in their lives which, in this day, is so hard as so many other
things vie for that position. But we pray and trust daily and will always guide
them to Jesus.
Lord, these children belong to
YOU first and we praise you for the awesome blessing & responsibility you
have given us of being their parents. What an incredible honor it is to teach
our children the truths of God's Word day in and day out and watch it transform
their lives!
Father, keep them close to you
and guard their hearts & minds. Help them follow YOUR ways as they shine
YOUR light to a dark world.
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you
today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them
when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and
when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your
foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.”
