I'm amazed at how my Savior can take any and every circumstance around me to show me more about him. My prayer has always been that this journey of life I'm on would continually bring honor and glory to him, so by using every opportunity; my mistakes, my successes, and my day-to-day adventures, he teaches me how to use it for his glory. This life he blessed me with is ALL about him! So, these are my thoughts, my heart cries, and my lessons from his glorious Word. These are the teachable moments from my Savior!

Psalm 25:4-5 "Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long."

"30 Days of Thankfulness" Day 9

The one morning I can sleep in and I'm wide awake at 5:30! Many burdens on my heart this morning but I'm thankful I can lay them at the feet of Jesus.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV)

I have always known that when God wakes me up, He desires time with with. Time for rest, healing, guidance, wisdom, truth, and praise!

So today, on day 9 of "30 Days of Thankfulness", I am thankful for early morning rendezvous with my Jesus where He reminds me that even though life is full of hurts and disappointments, He will never fail me. He is still at work! He is still Lord of all! He is in full control! AND He is still on His throne!
