"30 Days of Thankfulness"

Day 2

Today I am very thankful for the right to vote. Under the 26th amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America, I have the right to vote for candidates in political offices. I exercised that right today!  I praise God for this country, though not perfect, it is my home and I pray that God's face will be sought by our leadership. I am including the beginning of our Constitution as a reminder of some of the things that have been forgotten, praying that God returns to America again. 

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
