I'm amazed at how my Savior can take any and every circumstance around me to show me more about him. My prayer has always been that this journey of life I'm on would continually bring honor and glory to him, so by using every opportunity; my mistakes, my successes, and my day-to-day adventures, he teaches me how to use it for his glory. This life he blessed me with is ALL about him! So, these are my thoughts, my heart cries, and my lessons from his glorious Word. These are the teachable moments from my Savior!

Psalm 25:4-5 "Show me your ways, LORD, teach me your paths. Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long."

~ December 15, 2006 ~

 
On this day 6 years ago, Matt and I received the wonderful news...."It's a boy"!  This news wasn't delivered to us as we watched an ultrasound of a growing baby in my womb. This news was delivered to us over the phone as our growing  3 year old boy was waiting in a Chinese orphanage. I will never forget rushing home from WCA, where I received the call, to open an email and get the first glimpse of our precious little miracle. These 3 little pictures popped up and that was it....I was in love! Our son! 

Thank you sweet Father for the precious gift of life you entrusted to us. Caleb has brought so much joy to our heart and home and I cannot imagine life without him. Thank you for giving us the courage to say "yes" when you put adoption in our path. Even though it made no sense financially, we put complete trust in you and took a giant leap of faith in your will. Your plan is perfect! You guided our steps and paved the way to bring our son home! All for your glory!
